The sober truth of the matter is that the left’s impeachment narrative against former president Trump fell apart almost immediately after it was put together.

But no one on the left cares. The desire to impeach Trump, remove him from office, and otherwise destroy the lives of both him and his associates has existed since the moment that he won the election back in 2016.

Every reason that the Democrats have concocted to go after Trump since then has just been an excuse to do what they have always wanted to do.

This latest ridiculous impeachment narrative is no different.

Members of Antifa and BLM have already been found to have infiltrated the pro-Trump protesters for the purpose of starting violence.

The Capitol Building was already being stormed that day before Trump had even finished speaking, meaning that it’s impossible for his words to have directly incited a riot. Plus, the Capitol Police can be seen on video inviting protesters into the Capitol Building.

Mark Meadows Nukes the Impeachment Narrative From Orbit

Speaking to Maria Bartiromo on her show on Fox Business, former Congressman and White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows pointed out something incredibly simple that turns out to be a bombshell.

He said, “But we also know this: help was offered multiple times — not just in January, but throughout the summer, with the D.C. mayor saying that the President stood by willing to offer National Guard assistance… and every time was refused.”

Going into further detail, Meadows continued that, “As many as 10,000 National Guard troops were told to be on the ready by the Secretary of Defense. That was a direct order from President Trump.”

In short, far from planning or inciting an “insurrection,” Trump had actually tried to take steps to make sure that D.C. was as secure as possible on January 6th. For his trouble, he was rebuffed at every turn.

If Trump made such an offer, but Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, Muriel Bowser, and others refused him on multiple occasions, then who truly bears responsibility for the chaos that took place in D.C. on January 6th?
