COVID tyranny continues to ascend to shocking and disturbing heights in Canada.
Artur Pawlowski, the pastor of The Fortress (or Cave) of Adullam church in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, achieved internet fame by throwing provincial officials who attempted to prevent him from holding worship services out of his church.
In response to that action, however, a Calgary court has now issued a warrant for his arrest.
Calgary Judge Ramps Up COVID Tyranny
On April 23, David Gates, Justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench, issued a warrant to arrest Pastor Pawlowski. The warrant specifically authorizes public hate officials “to use such reasonable force as they deem appropriate to gain access” to Pawlowski’s church.
Even more terrifyingly, the warrant prohibits Pawlowski, or anyone else, to do anything to prevent officials from entering his church. The warrant specifically states that if any resists or obstructs officials’ attempts to do this, police may “do anything necessary” to arrest that person and drag them before a court.
In short, Justice Gates’ warrant gives authorities carte blanche to do whatever they want to in order to access Pawlowski’s church. Any civil liberties or any right to worship as you choose has, by this order, been de facto abolished in Calgary.
Even worse, Pawlowski’s lawyer has not even been able to see this order until this week.
When the Daily Wire attempted to contact the Alberta Health Services official who signed off on this shockingly expansive warrant for comment, the news organization received no response.
The Polish immigrant pastor, who grew up under communism in Poland, created a viral video in response to the threat of being arrested and ejected from his church. He has urged people to help him in his legal battle against Alberta, saying, “They want me in jail; they want to arrest us only because we dare to worship our God, and we want to do it in peace.”
“They’re coming very heavy,” Pawlowski went on to say. “They’re bringing documents, they’re bringing SWAT teams, they’re bringing health inspectors, police officers and bylaw officers.”
As shocking as it seems to say this, if Pawlowski does end up being jailed for standing up for his church and his parishioners, he will not be the first pastor to have been so treated in Alberta.
Pastor James Coates of GraceLife Church in Edmonton was arrested in February for violating the Alberta Public Heath Act and kept in a maximum security prison for a month.
Politicians the world over are drunk with power and are using the fear and hysteria generated by COVID to expand their power and to enact and enforce severe diktats that make mincemeat of civil liberties and basic human rights.
Politicians do not willingly give up power. Unless people stand up to this, there’s no telling when or if lunacy like this will end.
