In his latest attempt to remain politically relevant, Mitt Romney is challenging the integrity of anyone who would question the results of the 2020 presidential election. You may have forgotten about Mitt Romney as he hasn’t been relevant since his failed presidential bid in 2012, but he is still doing everything he can to walk the party line of the angry left.

Challenged Election Results

Republican Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) has made headlines lately with his promise to challenge the Electoral College results of the 2020 presidential election. Hawley has gained some support from more senior members of the Senate, including Ted Cruz (R-TX), in their vow to vote against the results on January 6. In fact, there are at least 12 senators who will be challenging the results.

Mitt’s Reply

While Hawley is seeking to rebuild the trust of the American people in the election process, Mitt Romney is seeking to crawl back into the spotlight. Romney took to Twitter to blast Hawley, Cruz, and the other 10 senators who have already signed a pledge to challenge the Electoral College results, referring to their efforts as “nonsense.” While he’s wrong on this particular topic, Romney is almost as familiar with nonsense as he is with losing.

Ultimately, the left cares nothing about the sanctity of the election or the future of the American people. The same party that has complained about the Electoral College since George W. Bush defeated Al Gore in 2000 is suddenly fanatical about the fact that it is the best way to choose a leader. Hypocrisy and the left are almost as synonymous as Mitt Romney and losing.
