Truth About Biden Revealed in New Book
A new book detailing the candidacy of President Joe Biden has put him in a completely different light than how the media generally portrays him. The book, “Lucky: How Joe Biden Barely Won the Presidency,” specifically details how Biden became angry with Vice President Kamala Harris on the campaign trail during the 2020 Democratic primary debates.
Biden Not Always So Gentle
Reporters Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes do not hold back any punches in revealing the stories about the president. While the media has portrayed him as being a gentle spirit, this book paints a different picture. The reporters write about how Biden lashed out during a commercial break of a debate after Harris called him out on live television.
Allen and Parnes confirm earlier reports that Biden was “steaming inside” after the incident.
Young Staffers Take the Brunt
The book also talks about how it was Biden’s youngest staffers who would often take the brunt of his anger. Even Biden himself has joked about his “Irish temper.” This temper was put on display over the course of the election season. Unfortunately for the youngest people on his staff, he would tend to push back on their ideas and talk down to them.
Sending Dogs Home
Biden is also taking heat this week for sending his two German Shepherds back to their home in Delaware. The dogs were banished from the White House after what the team is calling a “biting incident” with a security official. It had been a rough transition for three-year-old Major. The dog had reportedly been aggressive with staff at the White House, including barking, jumping, and charging at those in his path.
