Rep. Vernon Jones, the former member of the Georgia House of Representatives and former Democrat who became Republican in January 2021, has tweeted he is going to make a “huge announcement” in what will be a call for a full forensic audit of the 2020 elections in his state.

Jones, who became a Republican after endorsing Donald Trump for a second term and speaking at the 2020 Republican National Convention, appealed to Georgians with honest concerns over the fairness of the state’s elections.

He scheduled his big announcement press conference at Liberty Plaza in Atlanta, attaching an RSVP form whose title calls for a forensic audit of the 2020 voting in the state of Georgia.

Announced a forensic election investigation, with or without Kemp!

Jones served in the Georgia House in 1993-2001 and again in 2017-2021, and plans to challenge incumbent Gov. Brian Kemp in the 2022 Georgia GOP gubernatorial primaries.

His call is motivated by the many 2020 Georgia election irregularities warranting in-depth inspection.

If successful, his initiative for a full forensic audit of the 2020 elections would make Georgia the second state to undertake such a step after Arizona.

Jones’ statement does not leave much choice to the Democrats, who have undermined the investigation process since the end of the election.

Now there is no doubt that the investigation will be carried out, it only remains a matter of time and who will conduct it.

History of election fraud in Georgia!

Stacey Abrams, another former member of the Georgia House and a high-profile local Democrat, had a major involvement in the 2020 Georgia elections together with groups investigated for illegal actions.

Back in November 2020, Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger declared the beginning of an investigation into the New Georgia Project, alongside four other groups, a voter registration group, which was established by Abrams, and is led by Democrat Raphael Warnock, who became a member of the US Senate as result of the suspicious recent election.

The New Georgia Project came under investigation over allegations that it had sent ballots to the residents of other states.

According to Raffensperger, the group founded by former gubernatorial candidate Abrams had sent voter registration applications to New York City!

Back then, the investigation came ahead of the compromised January 5 runoff in Georgia whose flawed results made Warnock and another Democrat members of the US Senate.

The New Georgia Project also came under investigation back in 2014 over claims that it had falsified applications for voter registration.

As a result of the 2014 investigation, a case against Abrams and Warnock was referred to the police in 2017 but the two key local Democrats were never charged.

In April 2020, the Georgia Ethics Committee announced the start of an investigation into Abrams over money raised by her in the 2018 Democratic gubernatorial elections, a race she lost to Republican Brian Kemp.

It has revealed that more than a dozen independent groups financed by sponsors from outside Georgia had been created to support Abrams in her run for Governor!

In spite of that, Abrams has been considered a possible candidate for the US Senate, the Presidency, the Vice-Presidency, or a 2022 race to become Governor of Georgia!

Abrams has not conceded her loss to GOP’s Kemp to this day.

In a recent speech on Al Sharpton’s National Action Network, she claimed that she had “won” the election.

Kemp won the 2018 vote by a margin of 54,000 votes but has insisted that black voters were suppressed during the vote.
