Former President Barack Obama gained a reputation throughout his eight years in the office of being a nice, well-spoken, and relatable guy, after taking the office of the presidency at the young age of 47 (which is quite young for most Presidents!)
However, a new book released by Edward-Isaac Dovere, a close friend of the Democratic Party, has revealed Obama’s true feelings about his successor.
He said what now?
The relationship between the two former Presidents has always been rocky, primarily stoked by the successor questioning the citizenship of the predecessor.
This was a key Trump argument in the Obama, who was always on the back of the President regarding his citizenship, and demanding that he released his birth certificate to prove that he was born in the United States.
However, Obama has never really gone public with his true feelings regarding the man that took his place in the office.
Yeah, he would throw a few digs at him, one being so infamous due to its backfiring nature when the 44th appeared on ‘Mean Tweets,’ he read a tweet from Donald Trump stating that Obama would go down as the worst President in history.
Obama’s rebuttal was smart but backfired massively as he stated he would be the only one of the pair to go down as a President.
We all know what happened next.
Yet, according to Dovere’s latest book, ‘Battle for the Soul: Inside the Democrats’ Campaigns to Defeat Trump,’ President Obama held some pretty strong opinions.
Lunatic, madman, corrupt motherf***er, racist, sexist pig…
He allegedly labeled President Trump as a ‘f***ing lunatic’ and as a ‘madman.’
Obama apparently made the comments to prospective Democrat donors as an attempt to get them to funnel funds into his own foundation.
He reportedly stated that he preferred Texas Senator Ted Cruz to win the Republican nomination, before going onto claim that he ‘didn’t think it would be this bad.’
He then went on to label his successor as a ‘racist, sexist pig,’ before calling him a ‘corrupt motherf***er’ when learning that the President was still speaking to Russian President Vladimir Putin whilst the Russian interference conspiracy was being investigated.
Dovere, who is currently a staff writer for The Athletic, has been covering Democrat Party politics for close to 15 years and has gained favor with many key players and aides within the party, making his book a reliable source of information.
Former President Trump is yet to respond to the comments that former President Obama allegedly made but, if he does respond, it will be via his new social media website ‘From The Desk of Donald J. Trump.’
