The brutal dictatorial approach of the liberal empress, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), towards her own Democratic Party, heavily favoring the radicalizing far-left “Squad” of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and the likes, is about to backfire big time as nine moderate Democrats have openly defied their agenda with a powerful ultimatum.

Defying Pelosi and the progressive gang

The dirty dozen of Pelosi and the radical Marxist spearheads such as AOC has been spewing spittle as to how the Democratic Party in the House will not vote on the $1.2 trillion infrastructure package approved recently by the Senate until after a gigantic social spending package of $3.5 trillion is passed first by both chambers through a reconciliation process.

However, the group of nine Democrat moderates has now stood up and threatened to derail the insane $3.5 trillion spending package – unless Pelosi puts the already huge $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill to a House vote first.

The group of defiant moderate Democrats is small but just enough to cause the wet dreams of Pelosi and the Squad to squander trillions of taxpayer dollars to vanish into thin air – since at present the Democrats have only a slim majority of eight votes in the House of Representatives – 220 – 212, with three seats currently vacant.

With all House Republicans to the very last one expected to vote against the whopping communist $3.5 trillion government spending bill – Pelosi and her leftist extremist gang might just a lose a vote 211-220 – if the nine moderates end up honoring their ultimatum.

The group of the nine Democrat Reps. has sent Pelosi an open letter with the ultimatum; the nine Democrats who’ve mustered the courage to stand up to the growing leftist radicalization of their party are, as follows, Rep. Filemon Vela – Texas, Rep. Henry Cuellar – Texas, Rep. Kurt Schrader – Oregon, Rep. Ed Case – Hawaii, Rep. Josh Gottheimer – New Jersey, Rep. Jim Costa – California, Rep. Carolyn Bourdeaux – Georgia, Rep. Jared Golden – Maine, and Rep. Vicente Gonzalez – Texas.

In their letter to leftist royalty Pelosi, the nine stated that “the livelihoods” of many Americans are at stake, and Congress “simply can’t afford” unnecessary delays for months of the adoption of the infrastructure package – which they describe as “once-in-a-century” and “bipartisan.”

Lambasting what they say is a risk of squandering the infrastructure package opportunity, the group of the nine moderate Democrats declares they won’t “consider voting” for the $3.5 trillion budget resolution until the infrastructure bill “is signed into law.”

Biden and the Democrats’ ginormous spending spree is in big trouble

Without the House passing the budget resolution, which was just approved by the Senate, the Democratic Party would have no way to unlock the budget reconciliation process, which would, in turn, let the Democrats overcome the Senate GOP’s legislative filibuster.

If the reconciliation process is unlocked, the Democrats will be able to pass the $3.5 trillion spending package with only a simple majority of 50+1 votes in the Senate – with the tie-breaking vote of their Vice President Kamala Harris – instead of a qualified majority of 60 votes, which they have no way of mustering in the otherwise evenly divided Senate.

Despite the courage displayed by the nine moderate Democrats, however, Pelosi and the House progressives led by AOC don’t seem likely to cave to their demands, at least not quickly.

Fox News cited a senior Democratic aide as saying that “dozens and dozens” of other Democrats share the stance of Pelosi and AOC, and wouldn’t vote for the infrastructure bill until the Senate approves the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill.

Earlier this week, leftist empress Pelosi once again stated categorically that the votes in both chambers depend “depend on us having both bills”, and argued that “this is the consensus.”

And even if the nine moderate Democrats do end up caving to Pelosi’s pressure, there is no guarantee that the Democrats will be able to pass the $3.5 trillion spending package in the Senate, as two key Senators, Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) have made it clear they are opposed to such a gigantic spending bill.

In any case, it appears that the utterly reckless spending agenda of Joe Biden and the Democrats is in major trouble – which can only be good news to the American taxpayer who would suffer tremendously from such a communist-type government spending spree.
