President Donald Trump has been hated so much by a whole range of anti-American factors on the left – all the nasty Marxist, wokeist, and transgenderist types – that subversion played no small part in undermining his efforts to make America great again even while he was in the White House.
A new book by anti-Trump journalists from the leftist establishment of the mainstream media has claimed a new case of very high-profile subversion – and while it hasn’t been verified and it is unclear if the claims are true, if it ends up being confirmed it wouldn’t be a surprise at all but would constitute a case of high-level treason, as President Trump himself has put it in his first reaction.
Treason if true
According to the book bizarrely entitled “Peril” – by Bob Woodward and Robert Costa, both of no other outlet but the rigorously leftist Washington Post – Gen. Mark Milley, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was worried that President Donald Trump might carry out a nuclear strike against China after November 2020 election.
That is why Milley single-handedly went behind Trump’s back and contacted his Chinese counterpart at the top of the Chinese military to reassure him that if Trump orders a nuclear attack, it would be stopped.
Excerpts from the “Peril” book, which contains the allegations, were published by the vicious trifecta of far-left propaganda, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and CNN.
President Trump reacted wisely to the claims of the new Bob Woodward book – stating that “if it’s actually true” – because the allegations haven’t been verified – that would mean that Milley would be guilty of “treason”, plain and simple.
Trump did emphasize that it is “hard to believe” that Milley “would have called China” and do all of that, namely, being “willing to advise China “of an attack” or “in advance of an attack.”
Because “that’s treason,” POTUS 45 said on Tuesday in an interview with Sean Spicer, his former White House press secretary, on Newsmax TV.
According to the Woodward book, Milley called twice in December 2020 to reassure the head of China’s People’s Liberation Army, Gen. Li Zuocheng, that America wasn’t going to launch nuclear strikes against the People’s Republic of China.
However, he also told Li that he was going to use back channels in order to warn him if there was still going to be a nuclear attack possibly ordered by President Trump.
Distraction from ‘worst, dumbest thing’
Trump, however, said Milley might have made up the story about calling China in order to distract the public from his totally failed role in Joe Biden’s catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan.
He added that Milley and Biden’s “incompetent withdrawal” is “the worst, dumbest thing that anybody’s seen” and “the most embarrassing thing” that has ever happened to the United States.
Trump backed his conclusion that “Milley made it up” by asking what reason he could possibly have for “attacking China.”
Besides President Trump’s categorical assessment that Milley’s actions were nothing but treason if they did happen, numerous top-ranking Republicans immediately demanded the resignation of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Florida Senator Marco Rubio reacted quickly by sending Democrat President Joe Biden a letter demanding that he should ax Milley right away because the latter worked “actively” to “undermine” the legitimate president at the time.
Fox News host Tucker Carlson issued a devastating critique of Milley describing him as “treasonous.”
According to Carlson, calling Milley’s actions “deep state” won’t be strong enough, and that it’s the crime of treason.
