A new book has exposed last year’s seemingly successful attempts of Twitter and Facebook, the two overarching social media giants empowering the radical left takeover of America, to discredit the story about the scandalous revelations about financial corruption leaked from the laptop of Hunter Biden, Democrat President Joe Biden’s son.

The campaign by Twitter and Facebook might have been crucial for propelling Joe Biden to the White House as a poll showed that one-sixth of his voters would never have voted for him if they had been aware of the scandalous corruption leaks regarding Hunter Biden.

How Big Tech aided the Democrats

The new book, entitled “Rigged: How the Media, Big Tech, and the Democrats Seized Our Elections”, was published earlier this week by Molly Hemingway, a senior editor at The Federalist and a bestselling author.

A full chapter from Hemingway’s book is dedicated to the scandal stemming from the revelations out of Hunter’s laptop and the fact that Facebook and Twitter went to great lengths in order to discredit and even hide the story from as many Americans as possible.

In the chapter, the author goes back to reports from before the 2020 vote which exposed Hunter Biden’s touting of political influence before foreign players in China and Ukraine, with hints that Joe Biden himself might be tied to the corruption dealings.

The laptop leak was first reported by The New York Post, with The Daily Mail later authenticating the content with the help of cyber forensic experts. In December 2020, Hunter Biden confirmed that he is under federal investigation.

The radical leftist mainstream media at the time slammed the story as “Russian disinformation”, and Twitter was blocking it from being posted and shared for the same “reason.”

Author Molly Hemingway emphasizes in her book that the stakes for the censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop scandal “could not have been higher” since it could have made it impossible for Joe Biden to snatch the presidency.

A post-presidential election poll provided this much, as one in six supporters of Joe Biden made it clear that they wouldn’t have voted for him if they had known about the Hunter scandals.

Reeking of corruption

Hemingway, who says her book shows the blatant “fraud and cynicism behind the Democrats’ historic power-grab,” examines evidence around Hunter Biden’s allegedly corruption scandals in a chapter entitled, “Burying Biden Corruption.”

The author looks at a number of events and developments, including the Bidens’ visit to China back in December 2013, after which, barely 10 days later, Hunter Biden’s firm Rosemont Seneca formed a “$1.5 billion” joint venture with the Bank of China, owned by the Chinese government, thus becoming the first-ever Western company to work out of the just created “Shanghai Free-Trade Zone.”

The author also looks into Hunter Biden’s appointment to the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma in May 2014, shortly after another state visit by then veep Joe Biden.

Apart from going into details, Hemingway describes bluntly the Burisma arrangement as “reeking of corruption.”
